Fridays Class:

‘Ōlelo Hawai’i Program at Le Jardin Academy

Join our ‘Ōlelo Hawai'i Program. Children embark on a comprehensive linguistic journey, starting from phonetics and progressing through vocabulary, phrases, oil, chants, songs, dances, and storytelling, all rooted in cultural learning.

An exciting aspect of our Program involves a collaborative initiative with the Kaiapuni immersion program at Puohala School. Through this partnership, students actively participate in Hawaiian language exchange activities, fostering a genuine appreciation for ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i and honing practical conversational skills. This immersive experience goes beyond traditional language learning, encouraging students to build meaningful relationships and strong connections to Hawaiian culture.

As students engage in play, exploration, and shared dialogue, they not only acquire language skills but also gain confidence in their ability to embrace and embody the richness of the Hawaiian language. This holistic approach aims to cultivate a deep understanding and lifelong connection to the beauty and significance of ‘Ōlelo Hawai'i.
